Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since 1966, when designers at Letraset and James Mosley, the librarian at St Bride Printing Library in London, took a 1914 Cicero translation and scrambled it to make dummy text for Letraset’s Body Type sheets. It has survived not only many decades, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised thanks to these sheets and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker and Microsoft Word including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

A permit IS REQUIRED for re-siding where a different style material is utilized; e.g., installing vertical siding when the original was horizontal or using an Exterior Finish and Insulation System (EFIS) when the original was horizontal siding.
Window Replacement
Window replacement is generally considered maintenance, and a permit is not required as long as the same style window is utilized; e.g., replacing double-hung windows with double-hung windows. A permit IS REQUIRED to replace windows where a different style window is utilized; e.g., installing a double-hung window when the original was a casement-style window.

- a recent land survey
- the application fee of $50
Re-Roofing, Re-Siding & Window Replacements do not have to go to a design review board. However, any alteration to the exterior of a residential property must be reviewed by the Building & Safety Manager.
